Description of 🐟 WishDirect Tuna Strainer Press: A Food-Grade Stainless Steel Canning Colander for Regular-Size and Wide-Necked Tunas

Can colander strain oil or water from tuna cans without messing up your hands, keep fingers clean and scent-free. Works great with most regular size & wide necked canned tuna. NOT FIT PULL TOP CANS. Instead of using the can's metal lid to drain, simply place this strainer over the opening and press. Stronger and more sturdy than plastic canning colander, no chance of breaking. Made of food grade 304 (18/8) stainless steel, BPA free, Dishwasher safe.

Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Requires additional holes in base

I like it because it's made of stainless steel so it's durable. The only thing I don't like is that you can't squeeze all the water out of the tuna when using it on a can of tuna. I bought the plastic first and it worked great. But someone dropped it and a piece of one of the handles broke off. It's still usable, but I thought it should be better. So I bought stainless steel. But it's not as good as the plastic. Comparing them I saw that the plastic has extra holes on the sides and that makes a

Great strainer for glasses!

BENEFITS: β€’ Feels strong and durable β€’ Stainless steel is much stronger than plastic filters that are prone to cracking β€’ Easy to wash and clean β€’ Side handles provide grip, allow for more pressure and strain much more liquid than the Glass Lid β€’ Holes small enough for liquid to drain easily but not large enough to allow food to pass through β€’ No more accidental cuts from sharp glass lid edges β€’ Excess white water allows for more accurate weighing of tuna for those on a strict diet or Stick to…
