Ideal for this purpose

This strainer makes draining the water out of a can of tuna much easier without having to rely on the pressure of the lid. I've used a lid in the past and have always struggled not to cut myself. That works great. also suitable for vegetable jars when you need to drain the water.

  • Easy to read control panel

Great tool, although the holes could be a little smaller

There's nothing worse than a sloppy, wet tuna salad, right? This is a great tool, although some of the food will go through the holes. This will always happen a little no matter what you do, but making the holes a little smaller will keep this to a bare minimum.

Pros
  • Pretty
Cons
  • Sad gadget

Does its job in food strainers

Suitable for straining canned beans etc or for squeezing canned tuna or salmon. I wish the bottoms of the little hands were flat with no edges so they wouldn't dig into your fingers...although that doesn't get in the way. It's good to have two if you need another one, and one is in the dishwasher!

Pros
  • Brilliantly done
Cons
  • Almost never

I love these things!

I had one and somehow lost it so it was my spare as I can't live without it. In fact, I use them several times a week on everything from tuna to black olives. It's one of those things where as soon as you get it, you wonder how you ever lived without it. And this set has good price and high quality.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Well made and easy to use

Ideal for tuna cans. Sufficiently thick metal, it does not bend or flex when pressed down. Juices light and almost too good, because a good press makes the tuna taste good! I bought 3 packs of 2 each so that one is always available for the weekly rinse. To update! - They don't work on easy-open cans! (the one where you pull your tongue) Just a few more millimeters.

  • Quick Change
Cons

The best since canned tuna!

I love this little device! I love it so much I bought one for my parents, for my sister, for my brother and 2 for us! Works perfectly! MUCH better/easier than trying to use a tuna can lid to drain/squeeze out the water. The drier the tuna, the better it is for making sandwiches etc. Get one and you won't regret it. (Plus, it's just as good for straining veggies, fruit, etc. - bonus!)

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Little things

Grrr great product!

I don't understand the reviews from people who don't like this product and say it doesn't work or doesn't fit. This requires a regular sized jar of tuna, shellfish, fruit, veg etc. You can use it as a strainer for smaller or larger jars if you wish. Just be a little more careful. I bought a tuna filter over 35 years ago and my husband accidentally threw it away. He avoided divorce proceedings, sulked, apologized and said he would pay for a replacement. After searching stores for a few weeks I…
