I like the extra wide rims that cover the open cup so all the nutrients are retained when the tea is brewed. It's great that the inverted lid holds the cup of tea so there's no mess after use.

I still prefer fabric mesh but it washes cleaner although leaves tend to stick to the bottom. I especially like the heat protection lid, however it tends to wick hot water onto the cup or pan, so I set the cup or pan on a towel.

I loved everything about it, especially that it fits comfortably enough in my Contigo Luxe Seal travel mug to brew tea in. The teapot is big enough, the holes are small, nothing flows out. Bought another one for my mom

Love, love, love. I've had many loose tea infusers over the years and this is my favorite! Great design, well made, retains heat with a well-insulated silicone-lined lid, and you can place a tea stand on the lid after brewing to prevent spills.

I like this tea strainer because it fits in both a cup and a teapot, I can only use the right amount depending on the type of tea I'm brewing. It seems a bit more flexible/fragile than the tea infuser we had before hence 4 stars. Time will tell how long it lasts but so far I'm really liking it.

Nice tea strainer. fine sheet filter. You can use it in a teapot or personal mug. The lid can be used as a strainer holder when you need to take it out of the mug to drink, and also as a lid to cover the mug. Fits most standard size cups. Take a measurement before you take it.

This filter cannot effectively filter coffee grounds or CTC leaves. It can stress him out, but it's very slow. He will strain it one drop at a time. When this was done, my tea was no longer hot. However, after straining, there was still some CTC leaf particles in my cup, so while this strainer had smaller openings, it wasn't small enough for the CTC leaves.

I ordered one like this as a present for my wife. The first came as if the box had been opened, there were dents on the filter part and there were no pieces of rubber on the rubber gasket. Exchanged it, ordered a second one. The second came, the box was completely destroyed, and the seal was again missing parts. The packaging used by the manufacturer does not offer any protection and is so weak that damage must be expected upon purchase. I'm sending it back and will look for another brand. .

The ForLife Mug Brewer has been my favorite for many years. This one is about the same size and shape (it should work just as well with pints), but the finish is slightly different and the sheet metal used here is decidedly thinner than the ForLife. The tiny holes appear to be very similar to the ForLife holes. I have to wonder about the extra sealing lip on the underside of the lid. This is an additional valley to deal with when harvesting.
