Best just for sketching!

Really good for drawing! But the paper is not that thick. He seems fat. If you draw with graphite or any other pencil, it's really good! I actually tried writing this with my micron pens to see if it would work with the pens, but you can see the handle on the back. So it's just for drawing. Either way, it's still a good sketchbook.

Don't you make them like before?

I've been using Strathmore albums as journals for over a decade; I use fountain pens and different types of ink, and it's important to me that the paper is thick enough that my text doesn't show through. Usually these books help, but this one (bought June 2019) is different. Has Strathmore changed his newspaper? Or was a fake/copycat version sent to me? These photos are inscribed with a Signo 207 gel pen.

My pen (usually a Uniball, which is heavier than a ballpoint pen) sees through a little more, scratches and bleeds a little more on the grain. I understand this is a 60lb paper SKETCH level book, it's not really designed for a pen. Я разочарован, тем не менее, что я отказался от своего опыта с предыдущей "точно такой же" книгой, которая не сильно кровоточила — я использую ее для письма, а…
