Very flexible and extensible tool that helps quick development of cross platform applications

I like how easy it is to set up, configure & use in your apps with multiple different languages (I used JavaScript). The documentation can be improved but overall very good! We are currently using this for our mobile app which aggregates data from other sources - eCommerce tracking software as well weather sensors etc.. This allows us quickly create new features without having developers build them ourselves or waiting weeks/months before they arrive at production level due delays inherent when

Pros
  • Ease of Use / Fast Implementation.
  • Documentation needs more improvements though.
Cons
  • Difficulties understanding what exactly happens under "stream" component
  • Not many examples available yet

Easy tool that we used mostly when migrating existing infrastructure into lambda

I can programmatically create and manage my Sockets in Go, so it's not hard to add support for additional protocols. Setting up new consumers or producers is also very easy. I don't have negative feelings about this product. Everything looks fine with me. The pricing is cheap compared to other alternatives and supports both HTTP/1 and 2 clients (and servers). I'd like if Streamdata supported WebSockets more than just H2 (if there was no problem using multiple libraries), but currently it seems

Great tool and awesome customer care

The support from stream data is amazing, they are always quick to respond with questions or help as needed! I have never had problems using this service so far - everything has worked great for me since we started working together more than 2 years ago now!! Highly recommended product/company overall. We use it mainly in our business partner relationships (which means connecting partners) but also internally at work when building dashboards etc., which gives us access via web browser directly
