This device has manual focus but I didn't have to touch it at the usual distance from the desk. Image quality is good. Can't take a drastic difference in backlight, but that's similar to most webcams.

My siblings and I bought this webcam for our parents who are in their 80's and live out of state but our dad was able to plug it in and use it alone. away with ease! The picture is great, the mic is great, the siblings have done a good deal and we are all very happy with it.

Love it. I use it for hours every day to teach college remotely. I hooked it up to my wife's 10 year old Dell Inspiron 660 and set it up in minutes. (Plug into the rear USB port, not the front one as instructed). Worked great. Didn't even have to reboot. I ordered her a second one.

So far so good! I hooked it up to my laptop and didn't know how to do it at first. I realized I had to adjust the bottom of the camera to keep it in place. Once I figured that out, I was ready to go! The camera meets my expectations for a clear picture. I think with most cameras the key is that the user stands and sits at a reasonable distance.

Excellent delivery as promised. The webcam is fine. If you are looking for amazing smooth motion videos, you need to switch to another device. As for taking stills, that's hahaha. If you want to stream something live, you need to be fairly close to the device. Anything beyond a few feet of the image is distinguishable/marginal.

This is a nice simple plug and play webcam but the downside for me is that maybe because I'm pale my face shows very bright / hotspots, not great when I'm inside anything close to the camera, with or without ambient lighting like a ring light. There is no way to set it up. I would suggest looking for other options.

Exactly what was expected and delivered on time. I've had a lot of issues with vendors other than Revain in the past, but I took a chance because my kids needed it to scale with the teachers and couldn't find it anywhere else. I am very happy. The product itself does no more and no less than what is stated in the description. It's perfect for our needs.
