For storing the book

I used book tape to tape the spine of my father's 45 year old Bible. My mother and father used this Bible often. Now I have a Bible. The back cover is worn and has fallen off. The tape worked very well. I'll see how it holds up over time. I gave it an overall rating of 4 stars because I don't know how it will hold up over time. The transparent tape is really good because you can see the color of the cover and the words of the titles.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Hard, sticky (both good) and bulky (bad).

thicker than i wanted so not really happy with it but it's freaking hard and super sticky. I wanted to use it to repair some tears in an 1887 atlas, but stopped after a few repairs because it was too bulky for thin paper and would have caused problems with pages lying flat and likely other pages to warp. Another downside is that it has started to warp on the reels in the shape of a cone, so I don't think it will last long on the reel.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • something different

Ideal for repairing children's books!

I bought all my baby books used, so they are a bit worn. I started preemptively sealing the cardboard book spines as they all wear out pretty quickly with my eager little reader. Most books don't even show it! Next time I will buy a wider band as it took two strips to cover the spine of his thicker books. I hope this helps us use them for decades to come as I am a teacher and these books will be added to the class library when my child outgrows them! I have my dad's children's books that have…

Pros
  • Sturdy design
