These disposables are a complete waste of resources. The stripes make them look festive, but they fall apart when wet and disintegrate while you're still sipping your drink. The only upside is their biodegradability, but that hardly makes up for their uselessness. If you care about both the environment and your own health and household, stay far away from these disappointing paper and plastic products.

Works great but don't leave in the jar for too long. They will soften after about half an hour. Tried to use in restaurants to stop the invasion of plastic straws, but waitresses tend to throw away plastic straws too quickly.

These straws are perfect for ice cream at work. However, I have found that the straws do not hold up when used with regular beverages such as soft drinks or water.
