This flatware, used in the Tamarind restaurant on at least 2 Holland America ships, is where we first encountered it. We were happy to have found it available on Revain. The pieces have a rather different feel and take a little bit of getting used to, but not a problem. The spoon bowls are deeper than most. The knife is sharp enough to make it an easy job cutting tougher foods. Plus, they are a reminder of the wonderful Asian fusion dishes served in the Tamarind.

I've had these for years and recently decided to buy two more sets. They arrived today and I'm so disappointed. The shape of the spoon bowls is different and the once comfortable, rounded handles now have squared off edges. When I got married, having no experience picking out silverware I chose my set based on appearance only. Lessons learned over the years brought us to a new set. My biggest issues with the old set were that they had an oversized handle, so they were very bulky both for storage in our drawer and for washing in the dishwasher. You won't be able to bend these very easily. The spoons are a little weird to use as some people have noted. However if you give them a chance it's actually a nice "scoop." The knife is pretty sharp for a butter knife.Easy to hold; it's "lightweight" but sturdy.

Beautiful, love them. Only problem.they are soooo slim and tall the drop thru the bottom of silverware basket in dishwasher ! Will adapt dishwasher because I love them so. Great weight in hand.

I ordered these for my sister, having only looked at them online. When I finally got to her place and tried to use them, it turns out that they are much smaller than they appear - more like utensils in a doll set or something. The spoons are so concave that you can't really use them properly. The knives are very sharp for cutting, but far too small for spreading peanut butter or anything like that. They are great to look at but, the spoons are hard to eat from unless you are using them for soup. Also It hasn't been 2 months and they are already starting to rust.

The cut and style is beautiful but unfortunately it has a high shine gloss finish that looks like they are made out of plastic a bit disappointed just not look like the price of it.

Beautiful but the feel of them in hand is sadly not good. I have fairly small hands so I didn't think I'd mind, but the handles are too narrow and bite into the fingers a bit.The salad fork is very petite and really not very functional for salads.The smaller spoon is very petite as well, although both it and the larger spoon are too deep for normal use (but nice for soup). I so wanted to love these but I didn't. The style is just a bit too different to be practical. they look beautfiul but the tines are a bit too small and the balance of them is a bit off. They look exactly as presented so if you are buying for a distinctive look you will get it. If you are like me wanting a distinctive look for every day - such as a modern look, it may be too different to be practical. I found them to be of great quality but I did return for another item.

We fell in love with this flatware at Le Blanc Spa in Cancun. The only issue is that the handles are so narrow that you must load them in the dishwasher spoon or fork side down or they slip thru the silverware basket and stop the rotating sprayer in our dishwasher. they look very nice/expensive and they also have a good weight. I didn't purchase them for everyday use, so I have yet to actually use them. As far as the feel, the thin handles may take some getting used to for some if you are more used to flat/wide handled flatware but overall I'm pleased with my purchase.

These are super sleek and modern and they have a good weight to them. The quality is amazing and I get compliments from everyone that uses them. They are longer than your average silverware but I love them and plan on ordering more.

the big fork and the big spoon feel unproportionally bulky compared to the rest of the set, the teeth of the big fork are too thick and dull. but love the other three pieces which are slick and comfortable to hold.

Love this set- the handles are weighted well but are thinner than most may be used to. We like them and think they are very cool.
