Update: 9/23/22I had some stains on the rug so I took it inside to wash and it bled so much of the black color out it was ridiculous. I even put a color catcher sheet in with it and the entire sheet turned from white to black and now the white checkers are grey. There aren’t any written washing instructions, there are only pictures on the tag. I don’t know what the pictures mean but either way, it bled and the original white color diminished.It held up, and didn’t fall apart after washing it…

This is a decent mat that's pretty good value for money, and good for general purpose use. The label says it is 45% cotton, 45% polyester, 10% viscose. I am calling it a "mat" because it has no pile, it's just a thick woven textile with hemmed edges! It has a relatively hard and synthetic feel, which makes it more suitable for outdoor use or as a doorway mat; you probably don't want to stand on it with bare feet for long.Haven't tried washing it, but it should hold up well and clean easily with

Lovely rug; nice vibrant black and white; quality seems to be good. Have not used it long so cannot comment on quality, but it fits the farmhouse aesthetic perfectly.

Used it more as an accent piece under my main door mat.It gives my front door an excellent farmhouse vibe. It is made from a thinner material than you would expect from a door mat, but I preferred that aspect. I was initially worried that the white portions would get dirty with all the foot traffic, but it doesn’t pick up dirt.
