But OK for the price. Best in Tools and Equipment

They arrived on time and appeared to be preserved, but one of them started leaking freon during an AC repair. I had to disconnect and upon inspection found a dangling handle on the yellow ball valve.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Minor issues

bad very bad leaks

i put them on my yellow jacket gauge hoses and when i used them for the first time they leaked so badly that i had to take them off quickly if i wasn't wearing gloves would easily burn the refrigerant, don't buy them!

Pros
  • very good value for money
Cons
  • protection

Gasket falls out and freon flows out

they have black gaskets at the top, they fall out and you don't know that this leads to a leak in the connection expensive freon goes into the atmosphere. no purchase recommendation. THE AIR FAULT PROBLEM needs to be solved immediately as it will harm the environment.

Pros
  • free for educational purposes
Cons
  • there are problems

No leaks, good price, bought more.

Used for HVAC at 25 micron vacuum and 200psi and they don't leak. I always add some compressor oil to the fittings, maybe that does the trick. You need good tubing to get 25 microns. You don't have to over tighten them for a vacuum as the vacuum will strip the seals.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Great Price

Use this product every day, I recommend.

I'm an HVAC service technician. I started using them a few weeks ago and for the most part they work great. They leak a very small amount of refrigerant when connected to the service port. The only problem I found with them is; If there is pressure at the end of the gauge and it is not connected to the unit, a small amount of refrigerant may leak through the valve. This is a very minor issue and I recommend this valve.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
