Since I already have the smaller Sullivans Cutting EDGE Frosted Ruler line, I bought the larger one because it's more convenient for my projects. This is a great way to keep rotating blades sharp!

Very good ruler! I highly recommend it. It's very new so it's hard to tell if it actually helps your blade last longer but I think it helps because with all the cuts I've already made with this ruler I would have my blade normally should now be replaced. multiple times. It also helps to turn the blade to the other side from time to time, and so far that's all I've had to do since I've had this ruler. I think this line will save me some money.

When the cutting ruler arrived I put a brand new blade in my rotary cutter. One that is said to last five times longer than "normal" blades. I've used it to cut t-shirts to make endless scarves. I used this ruler with a new blade, and before the tenth t-shirt was finished, the new blade became so dull that I had to run the blade over the t-shirts 3 or 4 times with a lot of pressure. so that the blade cuts through the fabric. Very disappointed.

I have many, many quilting rulers from all manufacturers but this is my absolute favorite along with their Cutting EDGE 6.5 x line 6.5! It sharpens your blades EVERY USE, just like they say! The only circle cutter and blade I REALLY LOVE and use (now) is GINGER and their blades last almost forever! lucky! But now my gingher blades (I had 10 of them before I found these sharpening rulers) really do last forever! Wonderful work SULLIVAN & GINGHER!
