Just received so not used yet but is a good size and I think it will hold some oil. The only criticism is the lid. It doesn't "snap" into place, it just sits on top of the filter. I wish there was a way to securely attach the lid. I think as you move from place to place the cover just slips off.

Nicely built, looks very nice, no odd stains that would remain dirty after cleaning. I think it is very suitable for its use, although the thickness of the stainless steel is not great, but since no one would cook in it, its thickness is more than enough for this purpose. It looks great on the counter and I've managed to get rid of the ugly jars of old oil. Definitely recommend it!

Very high quality and stylish. In fact, this is the perfect oil filter. Thick and durable stainless steel construction, smooth edges, slotted filter sheet that captures even the smallest particles. Anyhow, maybe the slotted filter sheet could be welded on a little better/bigger - not sure if other units would need additional welding; However, the block I received has a filter sheet that is less reliable than I would like. But overall I like this oil filter.

This product is fine. It's not sturdy stainless steel, just a thin material, but quite serviceable. I nearly deducted 2 stars for this product due to the weight of the material, the warping, and the cost. If I saw this product in a store I wouldn't pay more than $14.99 for it. This is by far the best product on the market. I had my mother's butter dish which was over 70 years old until the handle broke. I've bought many different ones over the years and have hated them all ever since. Weight, materials, coaster at the bottom, dishwasher safe, handle and everything else that can be attributed to this vessel. Now I'm buying a few for gifts because we're all down south and want the best drip pan money can buy. Oh, and did I mention the VALUE for the quality was amazing,
