Just what I needed

I put this in the tractor cab to make sure I could see what angle I was approaching to avoid a possible rollover. My property is all the hills and that's just what I needed. Good build quality.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Some bugs

Good inclinometer. Easy to read from a distance

I bought this inclinometer for my racing sailboat. We put it on the mast so the crew could see our pitch angle. That works great. It can be seen from afar what is beautiful. Pat Robinson, Co-Skipper, IntrepidJ-35.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • I will add later

Simple and works

Of course you know it's better to reef when your rail is submerged, but you can reef or loosen the sheets before this happens. The thing sticks pretty easily. It's not a precision instrument, so get it as close to the boat as possible.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Ideal for Craftsman self-propelled mowers.

It does what it's supposed to do, it tells you the incline level. I put it on a lawnmower to see how steep my slope is as you shouldn't go over 15 degrees. Sometimes it gets stuck, but that can't be fixed with a light tap.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some problems

Great for sport

Great for my little Bobcat skid steer loader. Having almost flipped it recently, I decided to do a side tilt and a forward/back tilt so I can know if the angle is too steep to get close. When you mount them, you'd better do it right because the tape is so strong that it's not easy to remove.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Not only for boats, but also for tractors!

I recently realized the dangers of operating the lawnmower at too steep an angle. In the manual I have 10-15 degrees depending on the setting. I purchased this item and installed it on my John Deere Self Propelled Mower. Now I can quickly check the tractor angle and stay within a safe range. I highly recommend it.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Secret

Great for inshore sailing

I'm aiming for a 15-20 degree roll upwind. This inclinometer is both sensitive, dampened and fast enough to be very useful for coast racing. Trim changes are visible almost immediately on the gauge of a 35 foot keelboat. Haven't tried it in rough seas yet but I suspect it will be fine. Easy enough to see through the fairly long cabin in daylight.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
