Still low weight and great feel.

Used this on 2 cars before having to return. I wanted to replace my old torque wrenches with this brand. Unfortunately, they have weak gears that get stuck and skip. I have not abused the tool in any way and I know how to use it. Improvements need to be made to the gears and internal mechanisms for it to be a flawless tool. I had to send the other 3 back for the same reason.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Slightly torn

That's a great key!

Decided to spend a little more to get a ratcheting torque wrench. This is an amazing tool. Its accuracy is almost 100% at all levels, even at 250 ft.lb. Its length gives it extra leverage and the wrench is really well built and durable. It even comes in a musical instrument-like case - beautiful and durable. That's a very good deal for a really great torque wrench.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Don't remember

VERY IMPRESSED with all aspects of this beautiful instrument!

VERY IMPRESSIVE IN EVERY ASPECT OF THIS GREAT TOOL! I could go on and on about all the thoughtful details on this instrument, but if that means anything to you, even the two badges on the well-designed body are brushed aluminum rather than decals. I hope that says a lot about the experience with this wonderful product! I'm very OCD about my investments. This is HIGH QUALITY at a very realistic price. Absolutely no regrets!

Pros
  • 48 Tooth Ratchet
Cons
  • No Power

Quality product - Wrench

The wrench feels high quality in your hands. My old CDI torque wrench maxed out at 100lb/ft and I needed more reach to work with the suspension. Compared to CDI, this Sunex key looks more durable and is made of better materials. I checked the accuracy of my lug nuts and it matched the CDI settings at 95 lb-ft. The product arrived with test results and in a nice box. Few things could be improved: - Changed hinges on the box from plastic to metal - would be nice to know why there was a wrench…

Pros
  • Accuracy up to 3% clockwise and 6% counterclockwise
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Excellent Torque Wrench 1/2” 30-250 ft-lb

Very good workmanship, very high-quality plastic housing with real hinges and metal locks. I tested a Sunex torque wrench of known torque and it was correct. The 26" length makes tightening to a high value much easier. I need torque ratings of 80, 120, and 165 ft-lb for my three cars and this wrench fits perfectly. This torque wrench is rated at 250 ft-lb, which I use may not need it, but when I do I use a Sunex 3/4" 100-600 ft lb with a 48" length. This Sunex 1/2 inch 30-250 ft-lb tool costs…

Pros
  • Heat treated tubing with serrated aluminum handle for better grip.
Cons
  • Only available in black
