Ease of use at Leathercraft

does a great job of finishing the edges of my leather goods. I make a lot of western gear for local cowboys. They can be pretty picky about their gear and their looks

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Slightly torn

CHEAP METAL ROD. CAUTION

The first moment I turned my rotary tool to medium speed, the speed bent the cheap metal. The tool jumped out of my hand because the rotating head was bent and out of control. Incredibly frustrating and SO UNSURE to be doing something like this for so little.

Pros
  • Dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

You are on the minimum usage level.

This is normal. They do everything I want them to do but they don't center on the mandrel, it's not really a mandrel but a tiny piece of solid thread that the polisher is attached to. You really can tell if you wax your edges with these polishers. After loading, there is only wax in one place. So I have to slow down, otherwise there are gaps like this on my edges.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Save money, this tool kit gives leather rough edges ๐Ÿ˜

I bought a set of this leather to use on the holsters I make. Yesterday I used a long barrel shaped burning tool, the skin was installed and after using tool I and checking the results, the leather edges are rough and the tool has grooves. This set of polishing tools is cheaply made and practically useless. Today I'm going to hand polish the leather and throw this tool in the trash.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Great Price

DO NOT BUY Dangerous

I bought it and only used it for a few seconds starting with the big one, it was unbalanced and vibrated badly at low speed, wouldn't try any other speed knew what would be worse, replaced it with a small one and started using it even at slow speed, also vibrated a lot, i use it at slow speed for maybe 30 seconds when the shaft bent and my thumb very hard hit , it hurts like MFer , the shaft is bent almost 90 degrees. As such, they are unbalanced, have weak staffs, and are dangerous.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

TERRIBLE! I just tried the polisher on my Dremel. DO NOT BUY THIS! I used vegetable tanned leather scraps and coated all the edges with brown machine polish paint! I didn't apply the edge paint here, just wanted to see if it smoothed out the edges before using it on the finished leather project! I was about to dye my wallet red and thank goodness I didn't use it! It would have been browned by a buffing machine and would have completely ruined my wallet! Do not buy! It's already hot and smellsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors have arrived
