I turned the lights off which is a problem when driving on back roads. Very easy to install. The light went in with no problems - literally unscrewing a few screws - unplugging original bulb - plugging in new bulb - refitting screws - done! 20 minutes and the light was on and ready to go. First of all the shipping was quicker than I expected. Oh I have a Fatboy 09. I just put this headlamp on, the fit was good. I already had Sunpie spotlights for my 01 HD Ultra Classic and the bright white light from them made my spotlight almost yellow and the brightness of the spotlights was just out of the ordinary. Ordered some time ago, just installed. Looks great, the light is nice white. I had already replaced my headlight with a halogen headlight and thought it had good light and didn't realize how yellow it was until I saw this one. These 7 inch bulbs come standard on many vehicles including the original Ford Mustang, VW Bug/Bus, Jeeps, Mercedes, Miata 1st generation etc. Yamaha XS650 since the Original headlight was about as bright as the light on my phone. Not an LED flashlight, but a screen backlight. This lamp was a definite improvement. Installation was fairly easy and basically consisted of fitting a new fixture into an existing housing. The light is much brighter than the OEM and uses about the same amount of power.
