Many other reviewers are negative about how fragile and easy to break. The glass is really thin and fragile. But you just have to treat them with care. I have not broken any of them in the last 8 years that they have been hung in my garden. These replacement strings match my existing string perfectly and fit exactly.

Garlands purchased from a popular national store over the summer. Of course there were no spare bulbs in said shop and as soon as 6 went out the hunt for spares began. Revain was supposed to be my first stop, I found them straight away and they work great. They are the right size and brightness for the string I have. Highly recommended.

This is great value. They are delicate in the sense that they will burn out fairly quickly if hit too hard. I'm only saying this because I have two toddlers who can reach our lights and pull the cord from time to time, causing the bulbs to bang against the wall they're hanging on. But if it weren't for me, these lightbulbs would last forever.

So I've had these lights for several seasons now. They initially worked as expected, and I like that the bulbs aren't blindingly bright, but a softer hue. Great for deck. The packaging is great, nothing torn or broken. However, now, in the transition from autumn to winter, the bulbs burn out, unlike my old ones, which lasted more than 2 years. Luckily I bought two boxes.
