Not quite what I thought

I have tight tolerances between my teeth and floss tends to break. I've used a plastic pick in the past and expected it to be. But they have no strength, and once they bend they are useless. That means you have to line them up perfectly and push them very slowly. Then, if the gap isn't too tight, they work.

The lock pick is effective but useless when bent

Handles are too short to fit from the inside of the molars towards the cheek. This is where most of the food is trapped and not removed by brushing. Picks tend to bend easily when you try to align them at a 90 degree angle to your molars and may not hit the space between your teeth accurately. If the pick is bent, it is useless. Your fingers just don't have enough room to hold the pickaxe at the right angle on the inside of your molars. I solved this problem by using a mosquito styptic (a small

Bends easily into dental tweezers

I love these little dental floss prongs, but I don't like how quickly they bend with use. Once they bend you should get another one. I go through about 4 every time I floss.

great for kids or anyone with braces!

I can't live without her. Along with the electric toothbrush and dental floss, they keep my gums healthy. I know they're not meant to replace dental floss, but they're easier to use and I'm lazy. Also, I really don't like putting my hands in my mouth, and with these, you almost don't have to. They are also good for people with braces! All of my children have had braces, sometimes multiple, and it's just difficult to floss with them. Enter these choices. I actually had braces as an adult and…

Read the comparison test!

My dentist always advised me to switch from floss to these so I finally decided to try them but I wanted the best. Both types are great for normal teeth because the swab doesn't have to be pulled through the teeth like regular floss, it's just glued directly to the gums. At first glance I thought Oral B would be better because they are a bit longer. , thicker and firmer. However, the fact that they are longer is actually a problem because they didn't stay straight and kept flexing when I used…

Great for small spaces, feels great

Must use both picks and brushes. I didn't find the brushes small enough for some areas, so I use them for those areas. They massage the gums and feel great. I can even reuse them (by soaking them in a cleaning solution along with fixatives), but the massage heads are easily removable, so they can't be reused many times. I wish they weren't plastic and more like interdental rubber brushes. Can you see the little brush on the left side of my photo? That's all you throw away when using interdental

My new dental floss

I love these toothpicks. This is my new dental floss! Flossing is still good, but I just love the massaging action these picks provide, releasing food particles between teeth. Dental floss can sometimes cause unwanted gum effects on teeth that are closer together when the floss is pushed through. Just push and pop all the hidden foods with these toothpicks. Your mouth may actually look better and you may even "feel" better because there is less pressure between your teeth. And you were…

Floss phobia? It will change your dental life

You know the drill. the dentist looks in your mouth and gives you this - look and you expect "you're not flossing enough and your gums aren't as healthy as they should be" - the guilt builds and you swear if you go along From now on you will use this dental floss and saw between your teeth every day. And you do - for about a week. My last visit to the dentist suggested I should try it. I think you're kidding me? Of course, they can't do much good. He assures me it will be. I almost look forward

They are also great for dogs

I've been looking for something like this to eliminate the gap between my dog's front teeth. My dog is 17 pounds and almost 6 years old and had his teeth cleaned at the vet recently so we are trying to clean them. I didn't understand why her front teeth were in bad shape and debris was accumulating in the space between her two front teeth. I tried dental floss which made it impossible to let it sit still but they are so tiny and work great. I looked at many options and settled on this one…
