Ideal for use with a camping stove

Ideal for a camping stove. Without them, the hotspot is a 1.5" focus on a 7" pan. A diffuser distributes the heat better. It's still rough cooking, but our pots were cooked more evenly and pans were heated more evenly. Worth a few bucks. AND IT IS INSTALLED IN THE BOTTOM of a Nest Camping Net Utility Bag. Win, win.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • The list goes on.

Good solution: kitchen and dining room

Bought this product specifically so that we can use the moka pot on the gas stove in our RV while roaming around. Works perfectly. Because it is made of two thin layers of stainless steel, it cools down quickly but takes a long time to dry after washing. Easy to use, simply place on the stove top to provide a stable base for moka pots and other small pots. Also works well on a grate over a fire.

Pros
  • I look forward to when

More than I thought

I thought it would be easy for a few months. But this is a product that will last for many years if you take care of it. This is a nice addition to my pots and pans. I had trouble cooking with propane, it was too hot, now I can simmer without burning food. I like the pull handle. Just note that this does not apply to high temperatures. I've seen some comments about burnt grips and turning off the heater.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Might hurt

Works well in cookware accessories

Reducing pot ingredients on a gas range so heavily that it prevents an adequate flame seems to work a bit. A couple of things: it still smells very bad when heated, hopefully it will eventually go away. Secondly it dissipates heat but lets it heat up the top of the stop around it for example, even if you can no longer touch the stove when using it not sure if that will cause problems with the finish of the stop becomes.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some small things

Problem solved for a few euros.

I know I don't have the best electric stove on the market but I'm pretty sure it's supposed to simmer... but it doesn't. At lower settings the range is too wide to force the burner to maintain a reasonably constant temperature. So after some discouraging results with some caramel, it's time to do something to improve the results. It worked and for about $8 it was worth it. at least for a reason other than just getting a pot of caramel to come out right. We had these years ago when we were in…

Pros
  • Finally bought it
