Works as advertised

I bought this because I need a stable 2A power supply for my Raspberry Pi. It works like a charm. Will buy it again if I need another one.

  • Delivery was very fast

Works as it should. Simple design.

Works as expected for my phone. This is a fairly fast charge based on the specs of this product. There were no problems, I recommend replacing the original charger. It's also good if you'd rather have all your chargers in one package so you don't have to keep track of multiple parts.

Questionable quality control

Within a couple of weeks it connects flawlessly to my Nexus with just constant downward pressure. I bought it after temporarily losing my original power adapter. Back to the original, it still works after more than 2 years of frequent use.

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Long

Seems to be a loose connection

Used for Google Nexus. Works if you don't touch the area it's connected to. Kind of temperamental. Likes a loose connection. I thought it was just an accident but I was offended by a few more and did the same. Can be easily connected and placed on the table. If you try to hold it, you must leave the connected area untouched, otherwise it may disconnect.

The end of the HDMI cable is very delicate

The only great thing about this power supply is that the end of the HDMI power cable is very delicate. Don't touch it, hit it, breathe on it, or you'll lose connection. Otherwise it works fine.

  • Something is wrong

Works well for phones and tablets. Pi overclocked? Not as much.

Update (03/09/2015): I overclocked my original Raspberry Pi to 950 and the unit runs stable with this power supply. However, I bought a second one and it doesn't work. Charging my Galaxy S4 but powering the Pi. I deduct a star for that. (Three to two.) First rating: This is a good power bank that works well for charging my 2013 Nexus 7, Galaxy S4 and HTC One. However, I bought it to run an overclocked Raspberry Pi with Raspbmc and it doesn't seem consistent enough for that. I haven't tested the

Non-refundable - be sure to read the fine print!

To be honest, I ordered the wrong item. In my research, all I saw was what I needed, or so it seemed. When it came time to order, I just didn't realize that was the one I went for (not because of the price, just because they promised to deliver the day I needed it) , wasn't what I needed. So. guilty. But I was really shocked to discover that unlike everything I had to return from Revain (the tiny part of what I bought), there was a "no return" policy. I wasn't aware of this until I tried to…

  • Ideal for outdoor activities

Does not transmit correct voltage

This product does not deliver the voltage within the specified range. It kept cutting out when I was using it to power my Raspberry Pi. I had a headache trying to track down the problem and ended up messing up my WiFi adapter and corrupting my SD card. As soon as I switched it to a different PSU, everything worked fine.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Not sure
