Great replacement: computer and accessories

update: charger no longer works properly. You cannot use the computer while it is charging because the screen keeps flickering. Our cable snapped and I'm glad it fits my son's laptop perfectly and has held up well for months.

Stopped working after four months

I ordered this in a hurry when I got caught in a terrible downpour on my way home and everything including my laptop charger got wet. My laptop was fine, but the original charger that came with it was destroyed. After a week, this charger would disconnect from the laptop port and blink from "connected" to "battery" if you moved it even a little. But it did the job, so I haven't complained yet. Get a real charger.

I had to give at least 1 star for a rating. First let me say it doesn't fit. I understand it's universal, but I have to constantly brace something underneath it to maintain a good connection. Get the real deal at the end of the day.

Check your laptop model!

Perfect for my F556-UA. Be careful, don't buy this if you have the F555. Although the laptops have an identical case/layout, this charger is TOO SMALL for the F555. I tested this on my sister's laptop and thought our factory chargers were identical. However, it goes well with the F556 as described.

Exactly what I needed.

My family and I are moving from Georgia to Florida. During the packing process, the charging cable for our laptop got lost. I didn't discover this until most of our belongings were put away for safekeeping and I was taken to my husband's pool house. I ordered this cable and it works with our laptop. It came quickly.
