    So far so good, best laptop accessory

    So far it's much better than the original charger that came with my Swift 3. The original had a very short cord, this one has twice as long. The original also got very hot when charging, a few degrees below it burned your hand, for example. This new one stays nice and cool. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend it. If anything changes I will definitely update this review.

    Update: Not working anymore

    This cable fits my Acer Swift laptop, but the cable itself is very stiff, not as flexible as original Acer devices. Update: It worked for 9 months and stopped working last week, not reliable.

    Bought for my sister's Acer Swift which had a very loose connection from being dropped too many times. I wasn't sure if it was a laptop or AC adapter and it was cheap enough not to worry about the price if I'm wrong. We were lucky.

    It's not about the cable, it's about the connection

    If you buy a replacement cable for your Acer because your original power cord doesn't make a good connection and doesn't charge the battery reliably, you save your money, this is not cable power, this connection. If your computer is still under warranty, contact Acer and send it back for repair. If the guarantee hasn't come yet, you're just as screwed up as I am.

    This cable was providing a low charge for my laptop until last month it suddenly stopped working for me. This means that its total lifespan was less than 9 months. Put your money on something better.

    Not compatible with Swift 3/Acer SF314-51

    Listed as compatible with my computer. Waited over 2 weeks, with a dead computer, it's a charger. It is NOT compatible with Acer Swift 3. The packaging is clearly from a cheap fake. Avoid. Now I have to wait MORE than 2 weeks for another charger in the post. (Shipping is currently slow due to Coronavirus)

    It's not the cord, it's the connection
