Bought mostly so I can play CDs to my 3rd graders at lunchtime. Surprised good tuning and sound. It's a little heavy, but who wears it for long?

Nice and light, but the tuner is extremely sensitive and you can change stations just by touching the dial too easily. It took some time to figure out how to use all the features, but so far it's working well.

Who still has cassette tapes?!?! I do. :) This product has worked great for me. I'm surprised they still make cassette players. Vinyl is making a comeback, maybe cassettes too. Many one-hit wonders made it onto cassette, but not CD or digital. I am old?

This player was purchased for use by the elderly. I wouldn't recommend it for this purpose as the buttons are small and playing a CD or USB isn't easy for those who aren't tech savvy. Ordered two identical units and one of the CD players was not working on arrival. We decided this wasn't what we needed and decided to return it.

Bought for classroom use. Very quiet even at maximum volume. The sound quality itself is "normal" - I don't want to listen to music with it all the time. In addition, the player has no headphone jack! I don't know if it was mentioned in the description. Finally, the player itself looks cheap. Again, you usually get what you paid for. And since he didn't pay much, he got (not much) in return. Hope that helps.

Cassette player did not work. I put it in the cassette and pressed the play/eject button but nothing happened. Then the cassette was not thrown away. I had to open it. I pressed the play button and you could hear the music but the button didn't stay pressed. If I held down the button it played. As if the buttons on the cassette part would not hold. I have enjoyed this product my whole life. I bought this item in June 2014 and everything was great until October 20th. The sound quality was ok but it was for my little daughter's room so it wasn't a big factor in my purchase. I liked the fact that he read mp3 from a flash drive.
