Cannot be used in advanced mode. Mirror only

When connecting DVI and HDMI, etc., only displays as one monitor and cannot be expanded to display different screens. Item returned!

Great price on computers and accessories

Very happy with the purchase. Heavy and durable construction for 1/3 the price of a Microsoft docking station. Works great with my Surface Pro 4. I've had trouble with other mini video port connectors when connecting to my tablet. This one didn't have that problem at all.

Essential component for Surface

I have needed this dock for a long time. My Surface Pro 4 may be an older model, but having extra USB ports and a full-size VGA output is really valuable. Now I can easily connect a mouse, full-size keyboard, and printer at the same time. I haven't tried the HDMI connection yet.

Not as advertised, would not recommend. Cannot connect 3 monitors as advertised

I have a Surface Pro 5 with I5-7300U that is compatible with 3 displays/monitors. I bought this item to use with 3 displays but it doesn't recognize the 3rd monitor no matter what I do or what connection combination I try. I have an integrated surface display connected to HDMI via HDMI for a monitor and the display expansion option works. Then I bought a VGA to HDMI adapter for a third monitor and it doesn't recognize it. Then I bought a VGA to VGA cable for a third monitor but it still doesn't

Solid hardware but no HDMI audio passthrough

I have a Surface Pro 4 that needs additional ports to make it a better desktop and didn't want to buy a Surface Pro dock for the price. I ended up giving this product a try as it adds a much needed HDMI output, Ethernet input, USB 3.0 and even a USB-C port. There is also an audio jack, USB 2.0 and VGA ports.
