Excellent keyboard protection

Provides reliable keyboard protection without adding bulk to the computer. It's a bit loose around the edges, but I'm hoping that will go away after the lid has been on for a while.

The keys are dimmed, the backlit keyboard can't be used in the dark

This black keyboard case works great in conditions. However, immediately after unpacking, a design flaw was noticed. The keys are completely blacked out and the characters are colored white, which prevents backlit keys from displaying their characters as originally intended. This is the case if this protection was made for a non-backlit keyboard. The photos in the listing give the false impression that the characters on this cover are translucent on black keys, but that's not the case, and theโ€ฆ

Fits perfectly on my Surface laptop keyboard (not Surface Pro - unknown fit)!

Perfect! So very satisfied so far. but I just took it out of the box and placed it on the keyboard - haven't actually glued it to the laptop yet. For the time being, the product fits perfectly on the keyboard of my Surface laptop (Warning: NOT Surface PRO!) that I bought from Fry's Electronics in 2018/2019.

Light doesn't go through.

It seems there's light coming through the letters but it's not. They're just white on black. Therefore 4 stars. Nice touch when typing. The screen unlock button has been replaced with a power icon.

No major complaints

I have no major complaints about this product. It just takes a little getting used to because it just requires a little more keystrokes, but nothing crazy. Also, it doesn't detract from the looks of the laptop. Pretty good!
