SUUNTO Black Rubber Accessory Strap Review

I bought this strap for my Suunto Core Military All Black watch because the old strap was in pretty bad condition. And what should I say? it is in fact a watch strap. This review is for the strap and watch. The strap I ordered was an exact replacement for the strap that came with my watch. I wear it every day including training and golf. The group has existed for a little over a year. While the Core is a good looking watch with some unique features, a new strap every year for the price of a Timex Ironman may have made me reconsider my original purchase. I bought this strap almost 3 years ago and it's still holding up and looks almost brand new. It survived deployment in Afghanistan and looks better than the standard Suunto Core strap in my opinion. When I originally purchased this item I wasn't sure if it would fit properly, but it did. Recently my latch broke (holding the slack) and after writing to the seller he sent it to me for free! I will definitely buy from them again.

As noted and illustrated by other reviewers, the strap is slightly different in style to the factory strap that came with my Suunto Core wristop less than two years ago. I like this strap style a little more than the old one as it adjusts better for a comfortable fit as it has more holding slots per unit length to adjust the strap to your wrist; the reason I gave it 5 stars. A possible downside would be that more slits per unit length could also make the strip weaker and more prone to breakage…
