Description of πŸŒ– SVBONY SV139 Telescope Filter: Moon Filter 1.25" 25% Transmission ND4 Neutral Density Filter for Telescope Eyepiece - Reduce Moon Surface Brightness

Help you watch the moon comfortably; The 1.25" Neutral Density Moon filter can reduce the amount of light reaching the film without affecting the color; and reduces glare so you can see more lunar detail and surface features with your telescope. Durable Material; The included filters are made of HD optical glass; Good level of transmittance; Aluminum alloy frame sealing ring for better tightness; avoiding fall or loose. Protect vision; ND4 filter transmits only 25% of the incoming light; help reduce radiation; reduce deformation between light and dark areas at the edge of the moon; help protect dark-adapted vision when viewing the moon's surface. Suitable for watching the crescent moon; As the Moon moves around the Earth; we get to see more and more of the illuminated half; and we say the Moon is waxing; At first we get a sliver of it; which grows as days go by; This phase is called the crescent moon; It's very good effect to use the ND0.6 filter at this time. Applicable standard 1.25 inch; Metal filter cell threads directly into the 1.25 inch barrel of your telescope eyepiece; Let you achieve a sharper image directly; Useful for different caliber astronomical telescopes through which the light of the Moon can be extremely overwhelming.

Disappointing performance, not recommended.

According to my experience, this product doesn't meet expectations for electronic devices. The brightness is severely lacking, and it doesn't provide clear images.

Pros
  • None.
Cons
  • Poor brightness and image clarity.

i can't win

Good filter. Good price. Use this 25% transmission filter to observe the moon in daylight. This helped remove the blurry view and allowed us to see more detail.

Pros
  • Accessories for telescopes and microscopes
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something

Good price, works as expected

Good price, works as expected. Please note that these filters are not threaded on both sides, so you cannot attach additional filters to this filter. If you want it, get them (but they have 13% transmission, not 25%: https://www.amazon.com/Neewer%C2%AE-Neutral-Density-Transmission-Telescope-Oyepiece/dp/B01AL59PWM/ )

Pros
  • Telescope Accessory
Cons
  • Out of style
