Does this thing work? Yes it works but I bought a media bridge which was much better quality for less money. Would not recommend this cable. The end has already started to fall apart. I had to listen to others complaining about the quality. You have been warned!

I love the fabric covering on this cable. The cable is very flexible so it lays flat on the floor exactly where I put it. The black and blue pattern also looks good. The ends are of good quality and match the RCA jack perfectly. I just bought an SVS subwoofer and at first I didn't even realize that I had decided on the SVS interconnect. I can't say anything about the sound as I just bought a subwoofer. It seems like a good reliable connection cable for the money.

I bought this to replace the Monster Cable Interlink 100. I recently bought an SVS PB2000 subwoofer so I decided to use a matching SVS interconnect cable. My subwoofer's sound has changed a lot, and I'm not the type to think that cheap cables perform worse than expensive ones. My sub plays some very scary low notes, notes that scare me that things will start falling off the walls in the house. The cable is VERY strong with high quality ends. If I ever need extra connections I will go with SVS!

Bought to raise the floor and hopefully screw on RCA caps. I needed a 5m cable and was dying to have a shield that could be lifted at one end. This was clearly SVS' goal with this design and choice of materials, but attention to detail was lacking in construction. No shrink tubing was pinched and the ground wires touched a common pole at the destination end. These cables look great and are shaped like a reservoir. They have shot peened metal ends and a very attractive cotton outer shell, double shielded (metal braid and foil). Subwoofers.
