The material is really good and keeps my daughter warm. It is stretched to the neck part. I'm having trouble getting the top over her head. Edited: not true to size. Suggest buying a larger size. It also shrinks in the wash.

Can be worn under clothing in winter. I have an 18 month size for my 16 month old girl, the 18 month clothes fit her but are still a bit big and she is not a chubby girl - they are really snug on her but work because they she can wear under leggings. sweaters etc but if your child is in between sizes I would go up a size.

No bar top or bottom. I'm always tall since my girl is in the 80th percentile, but dressing her was a huge challenge. It wasn't that they were too tight or too short, it was that there was NO elasticity at the head, waist or ankles. I was very sad that they didn't work because we waited for them for quite a long time.

Colors are lighter than the image shown. The brand is cute and sassy from Walmart. They don't stretch very well around the opening where the head and ankles go in and I had to rip them apart to put them on my head (medium head size). I might go 1 or 2 sizes bigger. It was very tight for my 2 year old daughter who is 38 pounds (does not wear a diaper) and my 4 year old daughter who is an average of 35 pounds for her age. Both were size 4.

I bought these warm pajamas to wear under my daughter's Halloween costume to keep her warm. They were perfect for that. They're a bit flattering so I don't think they'll last all winter before she outgrows them, but for layering under other clothes they were perfect. I haven't tested the fit after washing, so I can't tell if they shrink at all or not. I would definitely buy them again and maybe up the size just to make sure I get my money's worth for how long they fit lol.
