Effortless Fat Separation: Swing-A-Way 4-Cup Easy Release Gravy Separator in Red Review

I like this design and it worked well the first two times. This Thanksgiving I poured warm (not hot) turkey liquid into the Swing-A-Way and within a minute the bottom red piece detached and the device poured out half the liquid before I could rescue it. Very poor build quality.

I used this product for the first time the other day. I was excited to use the product based on YouTube reviews etc. While holding the pen it broke in two places. Simply separate the upper and lower parts of the handle from the device. Of course, returning goods is now impossible. I'd love to hear an explanation from whoever built this thing.

Ordered two. Both came with cracks and a broken bottom latch. Judging by the low ratings, this is a constant complaint. My fault is that I didn't read the low reviews first. These grease separators arrived in undamaged packaging. Obviously, Swing-A-Way has poor quality control, if any at all! I will definitely think twice before buying any Swing-A-Way product again! Revain has been great about returns and refunds!

I bought based on good reviews. Last night I put on the liquid from cooking the pork well after it came to room temperature. I left it for half an hour and when I came back I found half had run out. The part blocking the liquid pushed through the plug part and separated it from the bottom. Article has been used 4 times since June. It was a big mess that needed cleaning up and is now useless and thrown in the trash. I would never buy it again. Like many others, you want to put the zero.

This thing broke the first time I pulled the handle. I'm not sure if I just snapped the one or what, but the part holding the connector to the bottom broke immediately. It is itself part of the plastic cup and molded as part of it, so the plastic itself has failed. Measuring cup is great for separating fat from other liquids. I love him for that. But the top of the filter is very snug on mine, making it difficult to remove once it's in place. Now imagine that while working in the kitchen everything got a little greasy and you try to remove the lid to pour out the grease.
