Swissco Tortoise Comb Wide Tooth Review

The comb is a beautiful tortoiseshell I would love to find in jars. Ideal for wet or dry hair. They came in their own packaging with shock absorbing inserts. I am very happy with this purchase!

This is a tortoise shell style comb with wide teeth. I use it on my fine hair when it's damp. This is the smoothest comb I've ever used! I don't know what's so special about it. but it is amazing! It's a hard plastic/nylon (not sure what it's made of) and it just slides through your hair. This is not a flexible comb. It's definitely on the harder side with a little "give". This is a good product for the price. It detangles wet hair, reduces static electricity and breakage when used on dry hair, and helps detangle thick, frizzy or fine hair. The reason I gave it 4 stars (instead of 5) is only because I was "spoiled" by the recently purchased Mason Pearson Rake Comb, which I prefer to this one. I bought this comb and 2 smaller ones exactly the same from the same company Swissco with the aim of carrying it in my handbag, Sometimes I just leave it in my purse when I swap my bag for another outfit. I only have combs. The only thing that concerns my hair after the shower. Bought two of these and will be buying more. My hairdresser suggested this comb to avoid damaging my hair when it's wet. Must be!

I have a large beard and it is super easy to comb. Every other beard comb is very small and this one gets the job done. (although not sold as a beard comb). Highly recommended.

It's nice plastic but it gets caught in my long, fine hair. It unravels badly. Now I only use it to apply conditioner to my hair in the shower.
