🔪 Swissmar V-2053 Borner Power Line Slim Julienne Slicer Review

Bought for cooking Korean carrots and other dishes. Unfortunately, that thing doesn't work for that. It cuts too thin. The whole thing remained silent. Cleaning this thing isn't easy either. waste of money.

Got everything I've come to expect from a Julianne slicer: sharp, easy to use and clean, thin and smooth. I read the instructions and was happy to know that you can clean the red carrot stain with vegetable oil. Made in Germany plus!

I've owned a Borner mandolin set for over 25 years and it still works great. High quality plastic, blades are as sharp as before. This carrot grater is made of much thinner plastic (flexes when squeezed) and is white for some reason. Needless to say, it's now half white, half orange. My old mandolin set is all orange so it still looks good and almost new. All in all this new white item is ok: good size and good blades.

Wonderful grated carrot product for a special traditional Russian dish called "Korean carrot” which requires carrots to be cut into thin long matchstick slices. Before purchasing this product I was unable to make this salad as I moved from Ukraine leaving behind my special Korean carrot grater. Not sure I'll keep it. Very disappointed in the V-Slicer I bought with this one. I sent it back. I bought this to replace my old beautiful Julien mandolin which I use almost every day. It will fade after years of use. Old is a Swiss brand with the initials KR. I thought that this brand would be of a higher class. Not so. This item feels thin in hand. It doesn't have a silicone grip that prevents it from moving along the cutting board, nor a groove that allows it to sit on the rim of the bowl…
