These are counterfeit discs. They have 8GB stickers, but they're only half that capacity and don't pass fake flash drive tests. They appear to hold a gigabyte or two, but these are flash drives that others say have had their firmware modified to appear larger than they are. Who would trust them for any purpose when you know they're at least partially defective? Revain has to pull all those Chinese fakes until they can verify which ones aren't fakes, if any.

I don't know what the 1 star reviewers had but the ones I just got were actually 8GB and when I compared them were they are slightly faster than comparable Kingston or SanDisk USB drives. And they are less expensive. Also, they come in different colors, making it easier to choose the one you are looking for. These are the worst. They are so slow and so far two of them have not worked (DOA). I've tried them on a MAC desktop, Windows desktop and Windows laptop. They look nice and colorful, but they don't come close to CD-ROM speeds. The one I used to create a bootable Windows USB drive (took over 1 hour to create) allowed me to install Windows from a DVD faster than a USB drive.
