Works as expected on HDD enclosures

Used with a 128GB ATC M.2 SSD. Works as it should. The screws are a bit confusing but actually quite innovative once I figured it out. The double-sided protrusion goes between the M.2 board and the IOCrest support, and you insert small screws on either side. Works great with my USB->SATA adapter.

Used to remap an NGFF SSD from a Chromebook - works great!

My situation - I needed an adapter to take my repurposed NGFF and use it in my Mac Pro (3.1). Product - I installed it on my Mac and everything was recognized immediately Delivery - arrived on time Package - was sent in bubble wrap to protect the box

Will not fit in a real PCI or PCIe slot; cannot be used simultaneously with M.2

I got this to use with an mSATA card and it works fine. However, it seems intended for use when the motherboard does not have a PCIe slot that matches the slot cover. This may be true for many cases, but not for me and is not stated in the description. The card sits too low on the bracket to disconnect the bus connector. I was able to insert it next to the port, but it wouldn't work if I had an M.2 card installed. (See photo.) Unfortunately, the low-profile design might not accommodate mSATAโ€ฆ

Does not work with nvme drives

I do not allow a drive with my name on it. I spoke to someone from support via chat and they said it wasn't for nvm drives and they didn't have any adapter cards that would fit. I have previously used the same card to read Samsung-named m.2 drives from damaged Lenovo T960 laptops. I have no idea why my previous card worked and this one didn't.
