Sylvania DVC840G DVD VCR Combo Review

After I received this player and used it a few times, the DVD side stopped working. Not what I was led to believe! I have read that it is in excellent condition and I expected it to last more than 2 uses. Very disappointed and wish I could do something about it!

This is a bargain! Works great and very easy to use. You can burn a program to VHS and watch a DVD at the same time. I bought one and ended up buying two more. I would recommend this device to anyone. Everything in the field of video/audio is changing so fast these days. If you need a combo box, don't spend more $! A small complaint. There is no time/channel/counter display on the front panel. Oops, I got through it!

I used to have exactly the same make and model. One day the power went out and it never came on again. I really loved this brand and model so I wanted the exact same thing. The second partially took VHS, spat it back and turned off the power. The third pulled in the tape and didn't throw it back. (Yes, the VHS cassette is still in it).
