These connectors are as advertised. At first glance you can see that many of the negative reviews are not entirely accurate. They're light, but not because the plastic is flimsy. They are made of plastic. These are all weather plastic plugs and sockets. As long as you keep that in mind, they're fine. Some reviews claim the threads are bad or the pins fall out.
