Great kit for the home or workplace. Contains an assortment of sizes of machine screws. These machine screws are used with nuts or directly into a female threaded receptacle to fasten metal parts together. Washer provides a greater bearing surface,protecting material. Steel construction/ Zinc-plated. Machine screws are used for many types of electrical connections and terminal strips. They are installed into an existing or predrilled, pre-tapped hole and are fully threaded. If nuts are needed, use with nuts of the same material, finish, and threading for proper fit. Exactly what I need

I bought this bolt and nut kit for a fan repair. There were many nuts and bolts of different sizes in the package and I was able to find what I needed. Since I often need the occasional nut and bolt, this pack comes in handy.

Handy and good value

Nice set of hardware to add to my basket of nuts, bolts etc. These sizes are handy, so I was low, but I still have a lot of obscure sizes left. Nice to have so you can complete projects without having to run to the hardware store to overpay for a few parts. I expect them to rust on the outside but don't worry. If I really need corrosion resistance, I'll go with stainless steel.

More sizes than fans so sizes were mixed; A lot of searching is required for size selection.

There are more nuts and bolts than compartments, so the sizes in each compartment were inevitably mixed, requiring a lot of searching to select the right size. It also makes it difficult to keep track of how many items of a certain size are left. The quality of the hardware seemed good and the plastic latches on the lid were reliable. I first used these screws to secure a mailbox; but I had to buy lock washers from a separate source.
