This twisted paper is ideal for small bows or gift wrapping. I will be using this on many projects and due to the amount of curled paper you may want to purchase one. It is pleasantly smooth to the touch, durable and the red color is a lovely shade.

This raffia works well for bag wrapping, crafting etc. Mine is a little redder than the product photos - I'd say it's more traditional Christmas red as old world Christmas red, but it's still very nice. And it comes with five THICK cardboard gift tags.

Before, when I had paper yarn, the paper would pucker and the yarn round; Here the paper is folded and therefore flat, making it look more like a ribbon IMO than a string. The paper is matte and is just over 1/4" wide when folded. When unfolded, it is approximately 1 3/4 inches (4.4 cm). The color is rich but not garish red - very appropriate for many occasions (doesn't scream Christmas or Valentine's Day). The roll was in a plastic wrap that was damn hard to unfold.
