Bought this strainer to wash berries and cherries. That's great! See my relative size photo next to a 12 ounce coffee mug. This isn't for noodles. I prefer mesh strainers for washing small fruit, but they cost three times as much. This is excellent value for money. Appears to be high quality and durable. Highly recommended!

Bought to replace an old enamel strainer that came in edible packaging. I use it daily to drain my dog's ground beef and it's quite difficult to clean; Cleaning up with the Dawn right after use still requires a fair amount of cleaning before it's clean - grease sticks to it. size and weight are ok; for berries, I'm sure that would be fine.

Item arrived with manufacturing defects showing some snagged plastic from the factory/distribution process. Be sure to wash thoroughly before buying. In addition, the product does not correspond to the stated dimensions at all! Even if you include the handles as part of the "width" it won't be as big as the description says YET! All I needed was a small stainless steel strainer to replace the easily soiled plastic strainer. I now need to rinse blueberries for my morning breakfast smoothie and this strainer is perfect for an account at an excellent price. It weighs 5.7 ounces and feels solid with decently thick sidewalls.
