Fades quickly in my review

2 month review. Product is study, and works as designed. You get exactly what it says - and is sturdy enough for my husky and Shepard. However, there's a reason most dog lines are steel cable: my dogs have peed on this, dragged it through droppings, and the rain have all done some work to this. Because it's fabric it absorbs this stuff. Additionally, it's looking a bit faded after 2 months, we live in WA, so the sun's not bad here.

Pros
  • It allows my dogs to roam around the yard with no issues.
Cons
  • May not be durable enough for heavy use

Great tie out on my review.

I wanted a longer tie out for my small but muscular terrier. After having several cable ties snap I decided to go with rope. It’s light weight so not too heavy for a small dog. The reflective stitching is great for seeing where he’s at when I put him out at night. I’m 4 months in and there are no signs of fraying or damage to the rope. It’s been perfect for what I need it for.

Pros
  • Shipped quick, works great. Better than the nylon leashes I was using.
Cons
  • Could be difficult to control with very strong dogs

Great Lead for Control

Used this with our 65lb Pit at the beach. She's not the friendliest with other females. but this gave us enough lead for her to have fun but close enough to pull on if need be. Material will certainly give you a burn (especially with sand on it). but the handle is good cover. Clip is a little cheapy but survived.

Pros
  • Great value for money.
Cons
  • Padded handle may be uncomfortable for some users

Nice Weight, No Storage Bag Included

This line is great for dog training. Sturdy, not too heavy, moisture resistant too. The handle is comfortable and the clasp is strong. I thought a storage bag was included with purchase but I did not receive one. Very happy with the bright orange, it is easy to see when in a grassy field or outdoor trail. 66 feet good training length. The rope is thick and smooth enough not to easily tangle.

Pros
  • I would have preffered the clip to be medal. Not platsic
Cons
  • Could be difficult to store in small spaces

Only lasted 8 months

I was super excited when I first got it. My dog isn't very good with "cords" or being tethered. This was soft and bright and she could see it and knew how far she could go. 3 months into it the bright orange was full and started fraying. By month 7/8 it started fraying and then the outer casing started disappearing. But underneath the rope was little tiny ropes and without the covering they spread and made it very difficult for her to walk thru. I made it last by just swapping the sides. Not…

Pros
  • Excellent for off-leash training exercises
Cons
  • Could be too long for small spaces like apartments or backyards

Functions as required, the dog loves it.

Used this tie out to replace a cable tie out.My 7 pound poodle has been using it for two months now. She says she likes it more then the cable. It's loosing some of it's color due to fading from the sun, she says that's not important to her, safety is her main concern. Whatever makes her happy.

Pros
  • Provides peace of mind for dog owners, knowing their pets are safe and secure
Cons
  • Could become tangled with other gear or equipment during outdoor activities

The color fades: my feedback

I liked having the clips on both ends making this easy to move around the yard to different locations and attach to different trees or our porch.I dislike the fact that over time the orange color fades to white.

Pros
  • Easy to clean and maintain
Cons
  • May not be ideal for use with dogs who like to chew on their leashes

Great value for the money

This works wonderfully for those of you that have a puppy! I don't have total faith on her listening 100% of the time, but this give her the room to be able to romp around fields without worrying about her taking off after a rabbit.bird.lizard.fuzzy bunny. It also works great for letting her swim in the river without worrying about her getting caught in a current.

Pros
  • Taglory
Cons
  • Could become tangled up with other leashes at dog parks or on walks with multiple dogs

My dog weighs 9lbs but so far, its great!

We do a lot of camping and have tried the traditional (hard and skinny) dog lead. They get kinks, won't roll up, and are usually a tangled mess by the time camp is set up. I found the rope/nylon leads to be way easier to untangle and to get pack around.

Pros
  • Adds an element of fun and adventure to outdoor activities with dogs
Cons
  • May require additional training or practice to use safely and effectively with your dog

Excellent product but can be dangerous

All in all I love this product and am so happy to have it. I have a big dog that needs lots of exercise, and it allows me to throw her a ball for her to chase in public parks without her being offleash (so I can exercise her without exhausting me). However, be very very careful with it if you have a big dog like mine that can pull. My dog occasionally will bark and pull at strangers or other dogs, and when someone caught my attention unexpectedly my dog went running to bark, so I grabbed…

Pros
  • Dogs
Cons
  • May not be affordable for some dog owners

Good for light use - my new review

I wanted something that I can leave outdoor all the time to tie my dog. This one broke within few weeks. This is not weather proof. May work for lighter use and if you store it indoor.

Pros
  • Love the sturdiness, the length, and the look of this leash!
Cons
  • Could become tangled easily

Very pleased on my review.

I ordered this because my dog kept breaking her tie-outs (corgi/blue heeler/husky mix, about the size of a baby German shepherd). So far so good, I think she even likes it! I like the material and the thickness, so far no fraying or signs that it could break.

Pros
  • Useful for teaching dogs to stay close to their owners
Cons
  • May cause discomfort or chafing for dogs with sensitive skin

Great, but not for a small dog!

This is made very well, I bought this because of how long it was and sturdy because my small dog (8lbs) has broken a few other by running too fast and snapping them - unfortunately, he acts like he is pulling a semi truck behind him with this one (super heavy duty) so now I have to find something in between! Also, it has faded over the last month or so, very light orange now.Would purchase for a dog 20lbs or more probably!

Pros
  • Overall, an excellent tool for active dog owners
Cons
  • Could start to fray or wear out over time with regular use

Great while it lasted.

This was great while it lasted, about 2 months. We used. Maybe 5 times. The handle was soft and comfortable. The clip ended up coming right off the leash. Thankfully we noticed in time in order to grab our girl before she took off.

Pros
  • Suitable for a wide range of dog breeds and sizes
Cons
  • Could get caught on rocks or other terrain during outdoor activities

Great Lead for keeping your pup close while camping!

We use this for our dog while we set up our campsite, he is great on the leash and can still wander around with the 15ft of length, but doesn't go too far. Brings us peace of mind and its so easy to hook up anywhere.

Pros
  • Easy latch, sturdy cord. Width does not get stuck in front porch deck boards as others.
Cons
  • May be too heavy to carry for long distances during outdoor activities

Broken in less than 3 months

Honestly when I first got this, I wanted to give it 5 stars but I wanted to wait until I had tested it a couple months. Glad I did because it broke tonight. The link on one side broke about 3 weeks ago but I ended up tying it up differently and it would have been fine. But the second link broke tonight and now I’m left without a run. Unless you have dogs that weigh less than 30ish pounds or ones that never pull, I would probably stay away from this.

Pros
  • Training & Behavior Aids
Cons
  • Could become too hot to hold onto during sunny weather

Great tie out for small to medium size dog

Very long length of 66' that will work well as my dog' s tie out leash. Like the fact it has reflective dots in it's pattern. The rope itself is thin, but durable. Double clips on this leash allows for wrapping around fence pole or tree as a tie out. Good packaging. Arrived quickly.

Pros
  • Ideal for working with shy or timid dogs, giving them more confidence
Cons
  • Could cause discomfort or irritation for dogs who have sensitive ears or eyes

Swivel clasp seems too small for a large dog

Bought for a pup who will grow to about 60 pounds. The poly rope seems strong enough and it floats in water which is good for a beach or lake (poly rope has a foam core). The stitching holding the rope to together at the ends goes through both pieces of rope where they are joined together & seems OK . The swivel clasp seems too small for a large dog & may be why some have had trouble with it breaking. I probably won't use this after our pup weighs 40 pounds or so. The clasp is not made of steel

Pros
  • Promotes good behavior by giving dogs space to explore without losing control
Cons
  • Could become knotted or tangled over extended periods of use

Holds my big bully - my new review

I have a bully who loves to run but is not great with recall so I bought this to tie out so she could run with my other dogs and is it nice and strong only problem is if tlyou have it in you and and try to pull the actual lease it feels like your getting Rope burn

Pros
  • I love this leash but wish the clasp was bigger for such a long leash.
Cons
  • Could be difficult to untangle if dog gets wrapped around obstacles

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works well on my review.

The rope portion feels sturdy. The clip seems a bit thin, but is holding up fine and is a good value for the price. May require a higher level of skill or experience to use safely and effectively!

Pros
  • Provides an added layer of security during outdoor activities
Cons
  • May require a higher level of skill or experience to use safely and effectively
