Easy to hold and easily mark objects or thicker lines depending on the pressure and angle of the chalk triangle. I have used tailor's chalk for over 50 years and it is a quality chalk. Affordable price, good packaging, easy to use, easy to wash off.

This chalk is very hard. I've had a few that were easy to use and left good marks. It's "difficult" and hard to write on cloth, but it comes out easily - mine rubbed off right away (but then it didn't leave a very good mark at first). It's not terrible and I'll be able to use it, just not as well as I was hoping.

tailor's chalk is comfortable to hold, four colors are bright and visible. To draw a design on fabric, hold the fabric taut with the thumb and forefinger of one hand while holding the chalk and drawing with the other hand. If you have an assistant, he can hold the stuff of ridicule. This is especially useful when tracing curves, different angles, and straight lines.

These crayons were a very good buy. The manufacturer provides very protective packaging and all 12 colored pencils arrived in perfect condition. I really like the variety of colors in the box, which goes well with different fabric colors. It glides easily over woven fabric and can make precise fine marks. I could also wash it off by simply dampening the cloth with water; I didn't have to use soap. I definitely recommend these colored pencils.

The chalk stains will stay until you iron or wash them off.
