This remote works perfectly well as intended. It makes one handed phone photos quite easy. One problem I can see is that the On/Off switch labels are incredibly tiny and written in grey on the red case. This made it very hard for me to tell if it was on or off leading me to leave it on for some time. Ideally there would be an auto-off with disuse after some time or I can see the battery dying quicker than it should.

I bought a total of four of these. They are so fun to use instead of a selfie stick because you don't have issues with your arm stretched out holding up the stick . You can take pictures all by yourself by propping the cell phone further away than a selfie stick can reach when you are alone. .I tuck the CamKix in my purse and the tiny clear packet it is stored in is easy to carry with me so Im ready to take photos with friends or family. Fantastic Item. For you selfie folks, you're going to love it. I use it to turn to turn my "video" recordings on and off for my business. It works great and eliminates the videotaping of my leaning over to turn my device on and off. It is also very convenient for selfies from a distance. The price point is excellent and would have expected to pay more. I might buy a bunch for my clients.

Got this to use with my phone while it was attached to my ring light. I love that it comes with a battery and works perfectly without downloading an app that probably sends my photos somewhere in China to be used in humiliating ads -- all I had to do was link it to my phone. After researching and hunting for a quick and easy remote control to use with my iPhone XS Plus, I ordered this one. It took over two weeks to get it from Walmart, but the important thing is. It worked first time I tried it! Very simple. I turned the switch to ON, turned on my Bluetooth and it found the device in seconds. Works for still AND video.Best $7 I have spent on any electronic device - ever!

At first I thought this doesn't work! No instructions come with it. What seemed like a logical thing to make it work, didn't. Out comes trusty Google for a answer. Well, duh, yes, you have to go in settings with Apple products. Go to Bluetooth, search for available items, just like speakers, air print printers ( except there is a automatic thing on IPhones, etc. that come up for that.) works well with my phone, iPod, iPod. No need for a app which eats up even more memory thank heaven!

This inexpensive remote worked flawlessly from the get-go, paired instantly with my iphone & allows remote stills & video with the touch of a button. Works just like it says. Very fun to use. I placed my Iphone in a hanging planter near our humming bird feeder and got some excellent slo mo video of the little guys feeding. That's how I plan on using it, for remote capturing of slo mo video of birds, butterflies and bees. Very fun and easy to use.

This item is very useful, I sync it via Bluetooth to my Android Celphone (Samsung) and works great. Might need to buy a battery replacement after 3 months of use.

This inexpensive little button does everything it is advertised to do. Pairing it with my 6plus was effortless.I tested it with the native camera and it worked well both with images and movies. I did not get further than about 15 feet from phone, but I experienced no connection issues. I tested further and turned off both the remote and the phone; once on again, it was readily recognized and paired without any action on my part.A pleasant find. Worked perfectly with Galaxy S5, though video must be punched-up first from phone before this item will work. In my average sized hands it was too small!Put a piece of non-slip material on the back of it . this rendered controller manageable.Easy synch to phone. Would buy again; if fact I already did. Bought one for my daughter's iPhone 6 and worked/synched great.

This remote paired nicely with my Moto XPE and functioned as expected. I like that it has an actual on/off switch on the side. I was expecting that only the smaller "Android" shutter button would work with my smartphone, but surprisingly, the larger "Camera 360 IOS" shutter button also work the same. Would prefer it if it had one large shutter button! Nice zip-lock storage bag included. Have not had the opportunity to check battery life or longevity of the device.

I shoot with a DSLR a lot. When I am relegated to taking photos with my iPhone, the most annoying thing is framing the shot while being able to reach *some sort* of shutter button! This partially solved that problem by removing the need to have one's hand in specific placed on the camera in order to actuate shutter. That alone is worth the price. I could not care less about using for selfies and that sort of thing, although it would lend itself well to that.

stopped working after a few months. thinking it was the battery, I bought some batteries but it's actually a design flaw. the battery cover breaks the first time you remove it and then it's done for. waste of the money to buy this AND of the extra batteries.Update: I've updated this to 4 stars because of the FANTASTIC customer service. The company contacted me and sent me another no charge, which works great. I still haven't tried removing the battery door - I will wait on that as I need to use

I bought this clicker to use in my work as a digital journalist. I don't always have a partner with me in the field, and I needed to be able to stick my iPhone 6 Plus on a tripod and operate it hands free. The remote works as described and has become a valued tool in my gear bag.

I have found this remote a great convenience when shooting pics with my iPhone X. Holding the phone and then touching the shutter button to take a photo is cumbersome compared to holding the phone in one hand or on a selfie stick and then pushing the remote button with your other hand. I don't leave home with out the remote!

I love that I could use this handy tool to take picts of myself modeling scarves and shawls I've created and not have to have my arm sticking out as I would if I had a selfie stick. I also like that the handy strap can be easily removed, so the bluetooth device could hide in my hand inconspicuously. The product arrived promptly, as promised. I like the little zip case it came with too - that's handy.

Pretty nice Bluetooth camera shutter for the price and the included lanyard is also handy. It works for the most part but sometimes it has trouble syncing up with my phone. I find it helps to hold the on button up into the on position with a little force when pairing to your device. It's small and fits nicely in the hand or in the pocket for storage. I was using an iPhone 6S and it worked just find in both the camera and video mode.I find it's most helpful when you are trying to get really nice

For the price and how small this thing was, I did NOT expect it to work. But it did! Super easy install that took only a couple minutes. I took it all around with me on my road trip and it held up great. Only took one point off because the body isn't the most durable, and I could see it easily getting damaged over time.
