Not exactly what I expected, not easy to use and something is missing, easier to clean your finger with a spoon than this product. I use it to slice ginger, but grated saide is pretty difficult to manage.

Daily preparation of ginger root tea, I was hoping to find its requirements in this meeting. very difficult to cut (blunt edge!), the grater is ok but not as good as the current one. I was hoping to combine them into a grater and slicer. I would return it but for the price I'm just reviewing it and giving it away.

I received this at the end of March 2020. It's easy to use and I love how the shape fits my hand. I've used it to make ginger root tea from time to time , mostly using the peeling function. The cutter and grater functions are ok but I prefer to use a slicing knife. I've had it for almost 11 months and it just broke while cleaning it :( I expect it to last longer!

Another product from the geniuses at Talisman Designs! What I really like about this ginger grater is the grip and how comfortable it is in my hand when I'm peeling the ginger. Ginger isn't easy to work with, you know! Because I love ginger so much, I've also tried garlic with good results. What will your next Talisman product be?

We have a micro grater that we use for cheese and ginger. We thought this would be a quick and easy solution to grating a small amount of ginger into a drink. Not correct! Unlike our micro flat grater, this small grater generates dust and requires careful working on a small grating surface. It is also dangerous to use it to peel ginger as the peeling blade is blunt and does not cut easily; The same goes for slicing ginger. In general, it is not suitable for the stated purpose. We returned it.

Not perfect, but I like it. Fits well in the hand (ergonomic grip). It cleans the ginger perfectly and is much easier to hold than a spoon. I wish the grater/slicer had a larger surface area/blade but it works. I cut them into equal pieces and they diced them into biscuit cubes, I also got a decent amount of grated ginger.
