This is a fun little toy. He will literally tell you anything you say no matter how long it takes. However, it needs a volume control. It repeats what you said in a higher voice, and since it doesn't have a volume control, it's very deafening unless you're speaking in a lower voice.

Bought as a gift for a 3 year old girl who has fallen in love with a repeat horse we have so can't give it to her as it was a gift at the time by someone else :) We tried this little cutie to make sure it worked, well it works! Batteries are not included but easy to install. The hamster will repeat everything you say, but in a funny voice. And he is very fluffy, soft and fluffy! It will be great as a gift, it brings so much joy!

I received this silly little thing for my granddaughter's 4th birthday. I ALWAYS open them up and put batteries in before giving them to the grandkids because who needs a broken toy pout lol well I was in awe of him my 2 little dogs barked at him and he kept barking shaking my head oh my god i cried laughed so much i want another one but my husband says NO this is not a dog toy i can't say how long it lasts but it will be fun for a while and the price is good

I bought this for my goddaughter's second birthday. She is a little shy and reluctant to speak and I thought this might encourage her to use her words. There were many children of all ages at the party and each of them liked this toy. They played with him and laughed till they dropped. If it only worked for a day it would be worth the money, but a month has passed and after daily use it's still chirping!
