Not Worth the Hassle

Based on our own experience, this tank lock fitting caused more problems than it was worth. The installation process was difficult and the instructions were unclear. Once installed, it didn't fit properly and required constant readjustment. The only pro was the idea of having a secure fitting for the tank bag, but the cons far outweighed that. Save yourself the hassle and look for a better option.

This is not the ring as advertised

I finally fitted the ring after Christmas, it's not the right fit for the tank bag. It latches but the bag fits sideways and it is not as pictured as advertised.

WILL NOT FIT my 2018 CRF1000 (Africa Twin)

The product image is misleading. This is not the advertised image. I was expecting a flanged RING for the tank cap system. Instead I got a flange. This product is recommended for my 2018 African twin in the description. It locks but the notch faces sideways so the bag fits sideways. In short, this isn't for the 2018 CRF1000 unless you want to attach the trunk surface to the side. Please search on another website before purchasing. be in class!
