Very easy Embedded App Building: TargetLink

-Target Link helped us create reliable and robust embedded applications using MATLAB /Simula.-It really helps in making my job easier; especially since it has all sorts of features that are required to develop an automotive application as well as a PC application.-The software license management could have been better if not free, but we can always get one at very nominal cost. This product can be downloaded online and can work offline with its offline version.I would definitely recommend this…

Very useful and powerful software for engineering automation

What i like best about targetlink (it's not just link) are its support to create very fast codes without any performance loss compared with MATLAB or other similar softwares; it also gives you full control of your generated c source file which can be edited if needed! what do dislike most? Not enough documentation around this product in order that we have no trouble at all when using them by ourselves :). Great tool for code generation and verification

I like the fact that I can create a model of my system in Simulink and then use TargetLink to generate code without having to write the code manually. TargetLink can generate a lot of code and I like that it can be run in parallel so that I can run a lot of code in the same time. The only thing I dislike is that TargetLink can generate a lot of code that I do not need. I would like to have the ability to filter out the code I do not need. If I am using ModelSim to simulate my system I can use…

  • This tool saves us considerable amount cost as we no longer go back into VHDL/Verilog coding languages when our designs change from requirements changes etc., nor does this software require long development cycle

Most useful resource when developing Safety Critical Software

We are using it to create RTL codes for our automotive products that use embedded systems for safety critical applications (such as airbags). This tool has saved us lots of time in producing this software, which was very cumbersome before we started working with them. There have been no issues so far.
