Description of Task Tools T24111 Straight Carbide

Straight router bit with 1/4-inch heat-treated, hardened steel shank; double flute for quick cuts. Dynamically balanced up to 24,000 RPM to reduce vibration and kickback. Non-stick powder coat finish reduces friction and resin build-up to protect from corrosion. Premium quality Super Fine Grain Tungsten Carbide for an exceptionally smooth finish. Size: 3/8-inch diameter by 1/14-inch carbide height.

Not worth the money spent

After trying this router bit, i was left sorely disappointed. The quality of the cut was subpar, despite the supposed carbide construction. The bit dulled quickly and was not able to handle heavy-duty jobs, making it unfit for industrial and scientific use..

Will not buy again, fits router bits

It is NOT what it was in the picture, doesn't feel as sharp and heats up very quickly, had too recoil problems. No carpenter so beginner experience.
