This is NOT the blade advertised. "It was listed as: All-purpose bandsaw blade for cutting wood and plastic • 14 teeth per inch for smooth, fast cuts in softwoods." It's actually a 24-tpi metal cutting blade.

I fitted this to my Harbor Freight band saw. I always worry that new saw blades are too small for a band saw. This blade came with no problems. Hugs the wheels properly. I sawed through several blocks of cherry and walnut and he went through them like they were soft pine. I will definitely buy this again!

I have used band saws from several other retailers. So far this TASK blade cuts faster, softer and stays sharper longer than any other blade brand I use regularly. I've been sawing mostly softwood, but I've cut a lot of small radius curved stock, and that comes up to 5 inches thick from stock. The blade follows precisely and cuts quickly. Some of the other blades I've used are difficult to set up and often vibrate when working. The TASK blade does not vibrate, which contributes to a smooth cut.
