The easel of Many Uses

I never thought I would be writing a review of a simple little wooden easel. But I needed to do it!From opening the box and smelling the fresh real wood scent, I just knew this was a great purchase. I love that smell. But that's not why you need to buy this.I use it for my tablet in the kitchen to see recipes when cooking or watch update news videos while having my morning coffee.The wife snags it for help with her homework assignments. Putting her papers or note cars on it while studying or…

  • Sturdy! I did t expect it to be this small... but I didn’t really look at the height. My fault.
Cons
  • Depending on the height and angle of the easel, the glare from overhead lights may make it difficult to see the canvas clearly

small but sturdy in my review

Love this little easel. It's small enough to store easily but sturdy enough to hold 16x18 canvas with ease. It is made of real wood not some fake stuff. It's perfect for my needs.

Surprisingly Good for my opinion

I knew this would be a small easel from the other reviews. It seems sturdy so far. I was able to place a canvas board of at least 12x16 on it horizontally and it remained stable when i taped a 9x12 vertical piece of watercolor paper to the panel and then painted a WC on it. Knowing that the feet of the easel might slip, I bought some inexpensive, small, self-adhesive rubber feet and stuck them onto the bottom of the legs prior to painting and placed it all on a table.That worked like a charm…

  • This fits perfectly for my canvas, can’t wait to start using it
Cons
  • Due to the heaviness of the unit, regular maintenance, cleaning, and oiling of the components may be challenging and time-consuming

For A Future Rembrandt Artist

My great-granddaughter wants to start painting. I was pleased to find all of the items she will need to start out with at an excellent price. I know she will love them. Thank you for making it so easy to find her Christmas gifts when the economy is so unsettled.

Nice little easel/stand

This is a very nice wooden easel; well made, attractive, and stable. I’m using it as a "now playing” stand for my vinyl lp covers, and it’s perfect in that role. Good value and highly recommended.

Great little stand - my new review

This stand is perfect. Sturdy. Required no assembly. Folds easily to store. Much more finished than the other unassembled raw wood stands that I also purchased. Highly recommend

Nice little stand good for me

I needed something to hold directions, a pattern or book at a good height and angle while I sew, this really fills the bill It is a bit bulkier than I anticipated but still works well

Great for showcasing art.

Initially I bought it as a tablet holder, but received a framed gift and used the easel to showcase it instead. Still it's able to hold my tab s7+ both landscape and portrait mode easily.I was a bit sad that I didn't get the fresh woody scent mentioned, but it didn't smell bad either.

Poor, poor instructions and missing parts

Wood is really nice, size is exactly what I wanted - BUT - there were missing parts (screws), wrong sized screws, and the instructions are terrible. Husband had to find extra parts and totally ignore the instructions.

  • Super quality. Great for Kidd painting and coffee table art display. Quality enough for gifting .

  • The solid beech wood construction makes it very heavy and difficult to move around

Solid easel!: my feedback

Solid easel. This isn't going to break on you. The wood is at least 5/8" thick. I even tried to bend it to test but it won't budge. Perfectly fine to use for displaying small art pieces or even holding a heavier book open.

  • The weight capacity of 46 inches may not be sufficient for artists working on bigger canvases, limiting their creativity and inspiration
